Do you have a passion for cooking? Do you love learning to prepare food in a way that nourishes the mind and body? If so, a career as a Natural Food Chef might be the right path for you! This is a growing field where you can make a big difference in your community. Graduates of the program have gone on to start their own catering services, teach cooking classes, become private chefs, and more!
Cooking demonstrations are a great insight into the program and an opportunity to ask any questions to our chef instructors and current NFC students and receive some fun cooking tips and tricks. All demos are available virtually (on Zoom) and in person, at our beautiful location in Arvada, CO. If you attend in person, you will get to taste what the chefs make for the demo!
Come learn how to make the best salads with seasonal produce! Chef Jacqui will share her secrets to incorporating seasonality, color, texture, and building flavor using intuition. Tasting individual ingredients, and building salads based on a star seasonal ingredient.
Everyone who attends will receive the recipe for a Seasonal Greens Salad with Delicata Squash, Pear, Blue Cheese, and Toasted Nuts. In-person attendees will have the opportunity to sample the salad while learning about the Natural Food Chef Program.
