Description

GROW Jeffco is a talent partner collaborative focused on the goal of creating equitable engagement across the education-to-employment pipeline.

In this workshop our goal is to support your organization with exploring, engaging, and expanding work-based learning opportunities. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop a work-based learning plan alongside key partners in Jeffco and the state.

INTERNSHIP PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITY:
Jefferson County Business & Workforce Center is partnering with Jeffco High Schools to connect students with summer internships! The goal is to get students experience across a variety of industries to help them identify post HS career paths.

This program uses grant funding to cover intern wages and worker?s compensation insurance. Internships will run from the first week of June through the end of July. Students will attend weekly leadership development trainings in addition to their internships. Besides the hands-on, paid experience, students are eligible for course credit when they finish their internship!

Host Organizations for the event include: The Arvada Chamber of Commerce, Red Rocks Community College, Jeffco Public Schools, and Jeffco Business and Workforce Center.
