Evergreen Chamber Orchestra: Colorado Mountain Holiday Concert

A fun, family holiday Zoom event featuring festive music, readings from A Child’s Christmas in Wales, an ornament making session for children, and a special visit from Santa! After the event, socialize with friends in your own breakout room. Live Zoom events will be held on Friday, December 18th at 6:30 pm and Sunday, December 20th at 3:00 pm. A recording will be available of the holiday music if you are unable to attend either time. A half hour before each event Santa will be available for your children to visit with in a private breakout room while the main Zoom meeting will be making ornaments using popsicle sticks, yarn or string, markers, and construction paper, pom-poms, or buttons. Music Director Bill Hill is busy recording music with his wife Natalie Hill and family. Some of the songs they’re preparing are White Christmas, Greensleeves, Let It Go (from Frozen), The Dreidel Song, and sing-a-long with classics such as Jingle Bells, and Silent Night. ECO President James Spear is also working on some holiday favorites as well as ECO Concertmaster Kathy Thayer and ECO pianist Peggy Lyon. This is just a taste of the wonderful music in this event!
