Description

Join us at Arvada Young Professionals in 2023! Starting this year, AYP will meet once/a month at various locations around Arvada.

Please mark your calendars and reminders + updates will be sent to you prior to each meeting. We look forward to seeing you!

For our March 8th meeting, we will be hosting a panel of three regional business owners. We'll learn more about their businesses, the "why" behind their businesses,
their challenges and how they overcome, and hear some advice they'd like to share. We'll have a traditional panel + a fire round. Come with questions to ask,
and stay to chat with other members and the business owners alike.

Panelist Bios:

Dani Everson, owner and hairstylist at Clementine's Salon
Clementine’s owner and founder Dani Everson knew she wanted to be a hairstylist from a young age. Her earliest clients included countless Barbie dolls, Raggedy Ann, and even Dani’s supportive, patient mother. Dani pursued her passion first at the Graham Webb Hair Academy, and continued her education with sessions at Paul Mitchell, L’Oreal SoHo Academy, Vidal Sassoon, and Bumble & Bumble University.

With the help of her husband John, Dani opened the first Clementine’s location in LoHi in 2011 at 32nd and Tejon to serve the growing neighborhood, and to use her creativity to help her clients feel good about themselves. Eleven years and three locations later, Dani strives to create a supportive, enthusiastic, and empowered culture for her teams of stylists and estheticians.

As a stylist, Dani loves creating vibrant, natural-looking blondes and reds, using her intuition and training to pinpoint the perfect styles and colors for her clients. As owner and operator of Clementine’s, Dani prides herself on creating an environment where her stylists’ and estheticians’ expertise is in balance with a warm, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere. No matter her role, Dani aims to help others realize their full potential and feel like their most beautiful and authentic selves.

Chris Hill, co-owner of Odyssey Beerwerks

Odyssey Beerwerks was founded in 2013 and named for a love of travel and new adventures, and just trekking through this odyssey that we call life. Odyssey is owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Chris and Deana Hill, and supervised by the official brewery dog, Nala.

The result of 10 years of love and labor is a full-production brewery that packages six year-round beers and hundreds of seasonal beers of varying styles. Odyssey has won numerous medals and awards, ranging from Gold at the Colorado State Fair to Silver at the Great American Beer Festival to Gold at World Beer Cup, with designs on many more
.

Chris is the "Chief Beer Peddler". That’s all anyone really knows about Chris’s role at Odyssey... No really, if we had to list everything Chris does here, it would take all day. Let's just say, if there's anything to be done around the brewery, Chris can take care of it.

Abby McDaniel, Owner of DNVR Lending
Abby McDaniel is a High-Performance, Down-to-Earth Loan Officer who makes homebuying a breeze by remaining competitive and knowledgeable about the market and its ever-changing patterns. With over 15 years in the industry in multiple states, she's a friendly, but steady force for homebuyers in any season, at any time. Abby is described as "highly responsive and professional" and "an absolute superstar", who "fights for her clients to make their home purchase effortless". She provides thorough answers to any questions - big or small - and shares her loan process openly. She's also highly involved with her community and is passionate about supporting local businesses.
